COVID-19 has left us with a lot of questions as to what the future holds. Whether it be the business operations or the lifestyle, it is uncertain as to whether the ‘new normal’ is a permanent normal. On 15 May 2020, AMCHAM was honored to have with us Mr. Anthony Das, the Group Chief Economist/Head of Research of AmBank for a topical webinar on the current economic impact of COVID-19 in Malaysia.
In 2019, the U.S. – China trade war was stirring up the economy and having everyone guessing, this year has COVID-19 driving various lockdowns all over the world, messing up global supply chains and worsening unemployment rates and more. But business can still go on in a ‘new normal’. This is the insight Mr. Anthony Das brought in today’s webinar, a look into the new SOPs to come into practice. He also talked about the role digitization will play from now on and the recovery phase to come.
This webinar was one of our highest turnouts and we hope to bring more similar webinars in the coming weeks.
