As Malaysia continues to be an investment destination, there is no denying that Malaysia’s political and economic landscape is both dynamic and filled with uncertainty. Adding to that is the COVID-19 pandemic and the lockdowns still in effect.
To get a better understanding of the constantly-evolving dynamics surrounding Malaysia’s political landscape and the rocky path towards economic recovery, AMCHAM held a webinar this morning featuring expert speakers from Vriens & Partners, a public policy and political risk consultancy. Nazhif Yusoff, Country Director and Shazwan Mustafa Kamal, Senior Associate from Vriens & Partners, both speakers provided in-depth insight into the current political situation in Malaysia, how it got here, and where it is likely to go with the pandemic still at large.
This session definitely helped shed light on the present Malaysia and gave attendees an idea of what the future holds for politics, business and investment here. Special thanks to both our speakers from Vriens & Partners.
