Citi Malaysia is providing extended COVID-19 medical benefits that will cover more than 11,000 of Citi Malaysia’s employees and dependents for private hospitalisation expenses of up to RM30,000. In a statement today, Citi Malaysia said it will also cover 90% of COVID-19 related private hospitalisation or medical expenses exceeding that coverage limit.
TIME dotCom Bhd (TIME) has turned to IBM technologies to modernise its network operations.
TIME would be deploying the IBM Cloud Pak for network automation built on Red Hat OpenShift to make its network operations more efficient and flexible across various environments.
The deployment would also increase the speed of delivery for new services.
Last week, volunteers from SMART Modular Technologies donated household items to Yan, Bedong, Tupah and Gurun flood victims worth RM80,000.
An internal program was launched – the Smart White Flag fund, whereby for every RM1 from employees, SMART Modular will match RM5. As a result, RM100,000 was raised for this program. Keep up the good work SMART Modular!





Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) launched the 2021 edition of its #SMART Automation Grant (SAG), a matching grant that helps services companies automate their business processes and move towards digitalisation. Calling for applicants, MDEC says successful applications will receive up to 50 per cent of the total project cost, subject to a ceiling limit of RM200,000.

AMCHAM CEO, Siobhan Das hosted the second meeting for the eight mentees assigned to her as part of Dell’s Mentor Connect 2021 Program.
Today’s discussion centered around the theme of “Leading Teams”. Siobhan and the mentees started the session by sharing their experience either leading a team or being part of a team. The mentees were then divided into different breakout groups where they discussed challenges of teams in complex organizations, learning from managing a remote team and identifying characteristics of team members.
