It is with our deepest regret on the passing of Datuk Dr Paddy Schubert, former Honorary Member of AMCHAM. The Chamber would like to express our condolences to her family.
As a former Honorary Member at AMCHAM, Datuk Dr. Paddy Schubert’s commitment to fostering strong business ties between Malaysia and the U.S. was unparalleled. She was an influential figure in the local public relations industry, with a career spanning six decades.
Notably, she was the first woman to be elected to the Institute of Public Relations in Malaysia (IPRM) council and the first woman to serve as Vice President of IPRM from 1976 to 1978.
She will be remembered for her outstanding contributions to the public relations profession in the country and her dedication to AMCHAM.
Datuk Dr. Paddy Schubert’s legacy will live on in our hearts, forever a beacon of inspiration for the AMCHAM community.

On 24 October, AMCHAM in collaboration with the U.S. Embassy in Kuala Lumpur hosted the networking event in conjunction with the Women in Strategic Trade Forum (WiST) at Arthur’s Bar, Shangri La Kuala Lumpur.
Attended by more than 50 delegates, supported by AMCHAM, this session was graced by Manu Bhalla, Charge de Affairs with two representatives from U.S. PDAS Ann Ganzer and DA Ann Hinderstein.
