SC Johnson Malaysia recently partnered with the MyKasih Foundation to assist 80 families from the district of Jeli, Malaysia, who were impacted by severe floods in December. SCJ provided funds through a cashless payment system so families could purchase essential food items, basic necessities and school supplies from an extensive network of retail partners.

This direct cash aid lets recipients choose for themselves the items they need and purchase them only when needed, minimizing food waste and removing the health and safety risks of social workers and volunteers having to procure, pack and deliver food aid.
