We are thankful for the support provided by AMCHAM in this tumultuous period. The Chamber’s close relationships with ministries and government agencies help in providing members with the latest verified updates as well as in ensuring members’ voices are heard by the relevant ministries and taskforce committees. We are also very proud to be part of the MY AMCHAM CARES: COVID-19 Initiatives where relevant aids are channeled directly to hospitals and organizations in need.

Aside from our IT and administrative personnel, it was necessary for our operations staff to work on-premises during the crisis. Palco is a reverse logistics service provider and deemed essential in our support of data and telecom infrastructure for global OEM’s.
AMCHAM provided critical information through regular Covid Updates and real time guidance through its dedicated band of champion business advocates. AMCHAM has proven to be an excellent networking resource with introductions to companies sharing mutual interests. We are proud of our commitment to three year Bronze Corporate membership.

Beyond the various platforms and networking opportunities that AMCHAM provides, we are especially grateful for the CSR recognition through the annual MY AMCHAM CARES as a healthcare provider. This acknowledgement from AMCHAM has further solidified our commitment to giving back to the community and has encouraged many corporations to do the same. After all, it is in giving that we receive.

AMCHAM has demonstrated their leadership so well in fronting the Government on behalf of their members. They are extremely vocal and make it a point to ensure the message is heard. AMCHAM has also acted as a bridge in connecting the company with the American Embassy in Malaysia and this facilitation has certainly benefited the company in various aspects. The MY AMCHAM CARES platform was phenomenal in mobilizing the resources from member companies to be channelled to the right beneficiaries efficiently, ensuring front liners and vulnerable communities received timely support.

Through tough times is when you discover true friends and in 2020 we are fortunate to count Siobhan and AmCham team as our true friend. AMCHAM via Siobhan’s leadership have made the difference for us in handling this unprecedented and unfortunate year. Providing regular updates, arranging calls to share best practices and made collective decision as one single voice for the industry. Extending beyond the regular role and scope, team AMCHAM did not let time, resources or bureaucracies stop you from protecting and supporting us, your team members. This leadership in AMCHAM is a role model for all in terms of managing crisis, keep calm and with clear objective in mind which is the welfare of the industry and it’s team members. My sincere respect and admiration in everything that you do and my only wish is that I can contribute more. All the best in 2021 and keep going AMCHAM.
