We are entering an age of scientific empowerment. Everywhere, science and technology are transforming the way we live, work and play. Social and economic success in the future will be heavily dependent on how well we create a culture of innovation and how we develop and grow the scientific thinkers, innovators and leaders of tomorrow. We need to ignite our children’s interest in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) now to prepare them as global citizens of the future. While school systems around the world have related classwork, it is important for children to see real practitioners from STEM fields and have tangible engagement in these areas to further inspire their imagination and develop their interest.
