Briefing on the Malaysian Expatriate Services (MYXpats).

This morning, Mr Tan Keat Meng, Manager of Foreign Talent Facilitation & Shared Services from TalentCorp Malaysia briefed members and guests latest update on the Malaysian Expatriate Services (MYXpats) mainly on The Residence Pass-Talent (RP-T)
The Residence Pass-Talent (RP-T) is a 10-year renewable pass for highly qualified expatriates to continue to reside and work in Malaysia. Introduced in 2011, the RP-T also offers expatriates an attractive range of benefits, including the flexibility to change employers multiple times during the validity of the pass.

Other areas that was discussed were the new requirement for Employment Pass (Category I, II and III), sharing on updated statistics of Employment Pass across all sectors in Malaysia, Scholarship Talent Attraction & Retention Program (STAR), Returning Expert Program (REP), including new programs.

Many questions were raised to seek clarification and to further understand TalentCorp and Immigration’s role in the many programs facilitated by TalentCorp.
