AMCHAM Welcomes New Governor

Faizah Mohamed Amin, Managing Director of HP Inc Malaysia is our newest addition to the AMCHAM Board of Governors.

A technologist with business acumen and passion for positive disruptions.

Faizah is a professional with credentials from multiple industries. 17 years in TM Bhd, she was among the pioneers who re-architected Malaysia’s Internet (2000-2004). The effort resulted in the country’s nationwide proliferation of high bandwidth Internet, before the “Broadband era”. She was also responsible for developing the Middle East and Africa (MEA) markets for TM’s data and ICT services. Among her credentials are Madinah Knowledge Economic City, Bahrain World Trade Center and MENA IP hub.

In her stint with UMW Berhad between 2014-2019, she led the Group to embrace technology with the development of their maiden Digital Plant for Aero Manufacturing. She also spearheaded UMW’s investment in technology venture.

In 2019, Faizah joined HP Inc as Malaysia’s Managing Director and she leads HP’s diverse business interests in Malaysia, including global business support and its manufacturing plant.
