Travel & Visa Updates

For Malaysian citizens planning to travel to the United States for specific job training, cultural exchanges, or academic programs, visa renewal is now possible via expanded visa interview waiver program by the U.S. Embassy Kuala Lumpur through December 31, 2022.

In-person interviews are NOT required for the following visas :

Trainee/Special Education Visitors – H-3 visas and H-4 derivatives
Participants in Cultural Exchange Programs – Q visas
Academic J, F, M visas
