Implementation of Corporate Liability Provisions Effective on June 1, 2020
As everyone may know, the reporting provisions within Section 17A of the MACC Act 2009 on May 4, 2018 has stipulated the implementation of the Corporate Liability Principle involving commercial organizations.
This provision stipulates that it is an offense for commercial organizations found to have any employee or party associated with the organization involved with corruption for the benefit of the organization.
