Sizzlescience: Building SPACE
The U.S. Embassy wants to make you aware of an opportunity to engage with Malaysia’s rising start up community. The Malaysian organization Sizzlescience, which is a participant of the U.S. Department of State’s Global Innovation through Science and Technology’s partnership, is seeking executives of American companies to advice start up founders for a period of 2-4 months. As per Sizzlescience’s proposal, volunteers could:
– Join the Board of Advisors of these startups. In exchange for their time commitment each participant could receive an advisor’s equity of 1%.
– Have the right to co-invest for 7% equity upon the startup securing seed funding via government fund managers or angel investors.
-Become a key player in the development of Malaysia’s start up scene.
