Procedure For Malaysian Citizens Wishing To Exit The Country For The Purposes Of Continuing Studies And Work

In reference to the Cabinet decision on 17 June 2020, it is hereby informed that students who wish to leave the country for the purposes of continuing their studies are allowed without obtaining prior permission from the Malaysian Department of Immigration. This includes students who have entered Malaysia during the Movement Control Order (MCO) period.
