PENJANA Tax Incentive Scheme – FWA (Flexible Work Arrangement)

Recently, the Malaysian Government has introduced PENJANA Tax Incentive Scheme (PELAN JANA SEMULA EKONOMI NEGARA) as part of Malaysia’s Economic Recovery Plan. Several initiatives have been introduced with an aim to stimulate the Malaysian economy.

As part of the PENJANA Scheme, Flexible Working Arrangement (FWA) was introduced to encourage work-from-home arrangements. This initiative provides a range of benefits to organisations in terms of Double Income Tax Deductions, Tax Cash Savings and SOCSO coverage for your employees. The scheme will be effective from 1st July 2020 until 31st December 2022.

TalentCorp Malaysia has been appointed as PENJANA’s Facilitator and EY is one of the selected Panel to assist in the execution of this initiative.
