Only Critical Construction Allowed During FMCO 3.0 Period

As part of the effort to curb the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic in the construction sector, all construction work nationwide would be stopped during this FMCO period. However, exceptions are granted to the works listed in Critical Services. These include:

1. Critical maintenance and repair works, ie. work which if not continued could cause danger or harm to workers, the public or the environment
2. Construction works involving major and critical public infrastructure
3. Professional services/ consultants involved in construction works that are permitted to operate as listed in items (1) and (2) as above
4. Services in the supply chain that involve construction works that are permitted to operate as in items (1) and (2) as above.
