ON Semiconductor Malaysia donated PPE Suits & N95 Facemasks to Hospital Tuanku Jaafar

ON Semiconductor Malaysia has donated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Suits & N95 Facemask to Hospital Tuanku Jaafar worth RM74,280 yesterday (18 Dec 2020) with the kindness of Yayasan Ikhlas NGO Team by sewing more than 1500 PPE suits to the frontliners. This collection initiate by the company employees themselves under the “RM1 = 1 Thank you” CSR program.

As we aware Malaysia currently facing the 3rd wave of the COVID19 pandemic and the demand for PPE for the hospital frontliners had increased desperately. As a continuous effort, ON Semiconductor Malaysia provided these items to keep our first responders healthy and stocked with protective material at this time.

This ceremony was led by Mr Jose Hernandez Vice President Manufacturing Malaysia & Vietnam, Mr Doug Keitz Vice President of Manufacturing ISMF and Aizu and Mr Kamaldin Director of Human Resources Department.

According to Datin DR Harlina Binti Abdul Rashid, State Health Director of Negeri Sembilan in her closing speech, all this PPE will be distributed to frontliner in Hospitals and Government Clinic in Negeri Sembilan.
