Membership Project Support (Part-Time, 3 – 4 Months)

The American Malaysian Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM) is seeking temporary staff to support Membership Projects working from our Executive Offices in Kuala Lumpur (near Monorail & LRT).  The Chamber is in the midst of coordinating our membership directories both hard copy and electronic versions. 

The successful candidate:

  • Will support membership related tasks entering and updating databases 
  • Compiling, verifying accuracy and sorting information to prepare source data for computer entry
  • Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities and checking and resolving inputs/outputs
  • Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents
  • Entering data into database software and checking to ensure the accuracy of the data that has been inputted
  • Communicating with members to obtain missing data and responding to information requests from members
  • Keep all information confidential
  • Comply with data integrity and security policies

Required knowledge, skills and requirements:

  • Computer literacy and familiarity with various computer programs from MS Office (Word, Excel, etc) and G-Suite (Forms, Docs etc); able to work in the MacOS environment 
  • Good command of English, written and spoken
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
