Latest Procedure For The Entry Of Foreigners Into Malaysia For Expatriates, International Students And Medical Tourism (MHTC)

It is hereby informed that a Cabinet meeting on 17 June 2020 agreed to allow foreigners with Employment Pass (Category I) & Resident Pass – Talent (RPT) to enter Malaysia without the need to obtain approval from the Immigration Department of Malaysia Employment Pass (Category I) & Resident Pass – Talent (RPT) 

The entry of expatriates holding Employment Pass (Category II), Employment Pass (Category III) and the Professional Visit Pass (Specialist Category) is still subject to approval by the Director-General of Immigration. The government has also announced that the entry of international students and medical tourism is subject to approval from the Department of Immigration.
