American Malaysian Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM) is hiring for its Chamber Associates Program, a one-year rotational initiative designed to equip fresh graduates with essential skills and experiences for success in the professional world.

About the Program:

As a Chamber Associate, you’ll embark on a unique journey that challenges you, hones your skills, and prepares you for a successful career. This program offers hands-on exposure to the various functions within AMCHAM, including Events, Membership, Government Relations, and Communications. Along the way, you’ll gain hard and soft skills, including writing for different contexts, managing data, critical and creative thinking, and collaborating in a dynamic environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Events: Support all aspects of event logistics, including registration, venue coordination, and post-event evaluation.
  • Membership: Maintain our CRM system, assist with member communications, and help with directory and renewal processes.
  • Government Relations: Monitor media for policy updates, undertake research, and support meetings and roundtable discussions.
  • Communications & Public Affairs: Contribute to social media and press release editorial needs and design visuals for events and marketing.

Throughout the program, you’ll collaborate with diverse teams to ensure seamless execution of the Chamber initiatives and bring AMCHAM’s mission to life.

Program Details:

  • Start Dates: January, May, or September 2025
  • Duration: One-year contract
  • Location: Kuala Lumpur
