Administrative Assistant

The Administrative Assistant reports to the Operations Manager and the Business Development Manager, while working closely with AMCHAM’s executive leadership, colleagues, members, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth and efficient operations of the Chamber.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Data entry and management of accurate and up-to-date records for the Chamber at large, especially on the CRM platform and other systems, including events and membership lists. 
  • Support the survey work at the Chamber, including but not limited to irregular snap polls, and surveys for My AmCham Cares, Membership, Economic Impact Survey, etc. 
  • Develop simple presentations and data visualization. 
  • Support collateral development: publications, marketing collaterals, etc.
  • Assist the administrative, membership, and events teams with general office tasks, which include welcoming guests, incoming queries, ordering supplies, filing, etc.
  • Undertake new assignments and support other team members on projects and events.
  • Maintain the Chamber’s privacy requirements for all data related to members and their operations.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in an administrative support role; experience at a membership-based organization is a plus.
  • Must have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and work to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. English fluency is required.

  • High level of integrity and work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and G-Suite (Forms, Docs, etc.) 
  • Familiarity with data software and analytics, survey software (SurveyMonkey, etc.), Web/App & AI tools; experience with database/CRM systems preferred
  • Able to interact well with external stakeholders, i.e. members & vendors.
