Indo Pacific Strategy and A Democrat-led Congress – What now…

On January 23, AMCHAM was delighted to welcome a Dr. Sam Potolicchio, a visiting public policy scholar from Georgetown University (Washington D.C). Dr. Potolicchio shared with a full room of AMCHAM members and government officials his perspectives on the outcomes of the U.S. midterm elections and how the transition to a Democrat-controlled Congress may impact the “Indo-Pacific Strategy” going forward.

During the Q&A, we also discussed various scenarios in which U.S. trade policy towards the region may be impacted by the Democratic presidential primaries in 2020. Our thanks to AMCHAM member Amway for collaborating with us on this event.
