In-House Briefing Session with Junior Diplomats from the Institute of Diplomacy and Foreign Relations

On 13 July 2020, AMCHAM welcomed its first-ever in-house briefing session with a group of 22 Junior Diplomats from the Institute of Diplomacy and Foreign Relations (IDFR), under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia. Our CEO, Ms. Siobhan Das gave an enlightening presentation about AMCHAM, the unique part that a business chamber plays in developing local and international relationships, and highlights from the on-going US-Malaysia trade relations. This session is part of the continuous education that the Junior Diplomats receive prior to their postings in 2021. AMCHAM is committed to the development of young professionals in Malaysia and we were happy to be part of this on-going education for these young diplomats. We wish the 22 Junior Diplomats all the best in their future endeavors!
