Nutrition for Zero Hunger

As a global leader in nutrition, Herbalife Nutrition is helping to tackle the global challenges of hunger, food insecurity, and malnutrition. Through our Nutrition for Zero Hunger initiative, we provide critical resources and expertise to communities around the world. Collaborating with leading non-profit partners, we are committed to find the answers to this challenge.

Additionally, Herbalife Nutrition Foundation (HNF), a global non-profit foundation supported by Herbalife Nutrition’s independent distributors, employees, their families and friends, offer grants to charitable organizations under its Casa Herbalife Nutrition Program to provide children with the nourishment, care, and nutrition education they need to reach their full potential. Through HNF, Herbalife Nutrition Malaysia has supported five local non-governmental organizations since 2006 with contributions of more than USD500,000. Currently, we are proud to be working with four Casa Herbalife Nutrition partners – Amitabha Charity Orphanage in Johor; Good Samaritan Home and Pusat Jagaan Kanak-Kanak Yatim/ Miskin Rukaiyah in Selangor; and Yayasan Chow Kit in Kuala Lumpur to care for the nutrition needs of more than 190 children.

Last year, working with three of our Casa Herbalife Nutrition partners, we launched the STAR Program, a fun 12-week nutrition education program to encourage healthy, active lifestyle. Each child received a progress booklet that was divided into two categories: good nutrition and active lifestyle, and each category has a set number of activities the children can complete to collect star-shaped reward stamps.

Even after the Program ended, we received positive feedback from our partners and the children continued the habit of drinking enough water, exercising regularly, and avoided unhealthy food.
