For years, Haskell has been profoundly committed to philanthropy, community, and giving back. Civic engagement is embedded in our culture and exemplified by passionate team members who serve as participants, leaders, and champions for acts of service. Haskell’s philanthropic leadership extends to corporate giving, where our efforts are a combination of financial and volunteer contributions – whether independently or in partnership with other organisations. Our giving centres on the relief of human suffering, with focus on the less fortunate and indigenous communities, and extends to other causes, including sustainability.

In Malaysia, Haskell has formed an alliance with ECOMY and Veritas for Project Kampungku (My Village). The coalition that started in 2018 has since been our annual commitment and focuses on the provision of a sustainable source of light energy for the indigenous villagers. In total, Haskell has served a total of 600+ hours on this initiative alone. In 2020, in line with the ongoing pandemic, our efforts have extended into delivering COVID-19 survival kits which includes hand sanitizers and face masks to our partnering associations including AMCHAM and InvestKL to help relief the burden of the pandemic.

Other efforts across our APAC offices include fundraising to deliver food supplies to communities severely affected by the pandemic. Haskell in Singapore and Philippines have hosted several fundraisers in 2020 alone to support our local communities. The Philippines team were also involved as volunteers during the Taal Volcano Eruption in Philippines. Together, Haskell raised over USD$3,500 within a week to support over 180 families affected by the eruption.

As a whole, Haskell is committed to giving back to our communities and will continue our efforts in our journey to build a better future.
