Flex Malaysia

– Flex believes that “no one should be left behind” – The company plans to double its PwD workforce in the near future.

As a responsible manufacturing partner, Flex makes great products that contribute positively to the world and steward sustainable manufacturing and operations practices to minimize environmental impact.

Sustainability is in our DNA and remains central to who we are and how we operate. Our long-standing track record in sustainable performance can be attributed to our employees’ commitment to always doing the right thing for our customers, colleagues, shareholders and communities, enabling us to continuously push for progress globally and locally.

In Malaysia, Flex is one of the largest employers of People with Disabilities (PwD) with over 130 PwDs employed in its facilities in Johor and Penang to date. In April 2019, we were recognized as a “PwD Friendly Employer” by the Ministry of Human Resources. We are also committed to fostering a safe working environment and providing equal employment and career growth opportunities where our employees feel empowered to reach their full potential.

We are one of the few technology companies in the country to fully sponsor a large number of employees’ tertiary education in local universities. To date, more than 560 Flex employees have completed their master’s, diploma and certificate programs, leading them to better career prospects and promotions.

As we continue to navigate through these challenging times, our employees’ health and safety still remains top priority. We are also focused on supporting our customers by leveraging our supply chain and manufacturing expertise to deliver essential healthcare and infrastructure products to support the critical needs created by the pandemic.
