What will GE-15 bring to the future of Malaysia?
The 14th General Election in 2018 brought an end to the 62-year rule of Barisan Nasional (BN). Since then, Malaysia has had three prime ministers and cabinet reshuffles. Businesses large and small across the country experienced unprecedented policy and business uncertainties, made worse by the COVID-19 pandemic and related health crises and lockdowns. Malaysia has never experienced such tremendous predictability in its entire history.

Our guest speaker is Dr. Muhammed Abdul Khalid, Board Member, Malaysian Institute of Economic Research (MIER) and Managing Director, DM Analytics Sdn. Bhd. and Azeem Abu Bakar, Managing Director, Free Malaysia Today will share their perspectives and insights on the outcome of GE-15, its impacts on national policies, and how the business community in Malaysia could adapt to the new regime. This session will be moderated by Siobhan Das, CEO of AMCHAM.
