The International Anti-Corruption Day is propagated by the United Nations (UN) and commemorated annually on December 9. It seeks to highlight the rights and responsibilities of everyone – including States, government officials, civil servants, the private sector and the international community in various nations – in tackling corruption.
This year, the global theme set by the UN is ‘Your Right, Your Role: Say No to Corruption‘ and will feature a series of exclusive dialogue sessions held nationwide between the expatriate community in the field of business and trade, and the top management of MACC.
The dialogue sessions will focus on disseminating information on anti-corruption initiatives by the Government of Malaysia and MACC, followed by a discussion during which participants can seek clarification as well as share recommendations on good practices of preventing and countering corruption in creating a corrupt-free business environment in Malaysia.
