Members’ Briefing

At the bi-monthly Members’ Briefing on 22 March, the members were updated on the upcoming events in April and reminded to pay their membership fees for 2017. AMCHAM had met-up with the relevant Ministries, looking for solutions to move forward on some of the current issues.

There will be more U.S. ministerial meetings that will bring U.S. ministers to this region. In April, the U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of Treasury for East Asia will be visiting Malaysia and AMCHAM will be sending out invitations for a roundtable with him.

There were a few new faces from MDEC, Exxon Mobil and PGA Tours at this briefing. We hope to see more in the coming sessions.
