Gender Diversity – Exploring The Localization of Gender Diversity in Malaysia

Why Gender Diversity matters? Diversity in the workplace is important to our future business success because the world as we’ve known it has changed and will continue to do so.

AMCHAM, together with CnetG, organized a HR Roundtable on September 9, 2016 bringing together 15 senior HR leaders from U.S. multinationals and other international companies.

The discussion was led by Deepa George, Client Partner at CnetG and looked at the differences between western policies and the feasibility of adopting the western policies in our local corporate environment; whether or not Asian nuances play a role in the consideration of localization of western policies. Other areas that was discussed were how to create equitable opportunities and sharing of success stories.
