What is Ambition 2030?
Ambition 2030 is aimed to enable and inspire positive impact on the environment and society while creating value for the Company and consumers. Ambition 2030 is predicated on four pillars: Brands, Supply Chain, Society, and Employees. Each pillar has specific focus areas which seek to address two of the world’s most pressing environmental challenges: finite resources and growing consumption. P&G established the P&G Smallholders Program in 2014 where they are committed to improve livelihoods of 10,000 Malaysian palm smallholders in our supply chain by helping them to maximize yield from their existing lands.
Join us Thursday, March 7, 2019 from 2:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m (Registration starts at 2:00 p.m.) at AMCHAM’s New Executive Office to listen to Girish Deshpande, Global Surfactants Business Planner & Palm Sustainability Leader of Procter & Gamble UK alongside Dr. Asad Ata, Associate Professor at the Malaysia Institute for Supply Chain Innovation (MISI). They will be sharing with members and guests on:
- How a global commitment by a multinational company is translated into true partnership and meaningful collaboration with industry experts to enable a successful supply chain engagement
- Enabling active participation of supply chain actors in project development and deliverables to ensure long term commitment and success of the P&G Smallholders Program
