[Change of Venue] Corporate Citizenship: Driving Impact with Corporate Volunteering
December 12, 2018 @ 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm
Join us on December 12, 2018 from 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. at Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur Hotel over lunch and listen to Nehal Shah, CSR Program Manager of ON Semiconductor and Taufiq Razak, Leader – GE Volunteers Malaysia of General Electric International, Inc. (GE) sharing their areas of expertise in Corporate Volunteering.
Nehal will be sharing ON Semiconductor’s corporate social responsibility initiatives and its North American Employee Volunteer Program (EVP). Normally based in the U.S., Nehal has spent the last few months learning about the local requirements and contextual variables of its sites in Europe and Asia in anticipation of offering and deploying the EVP in these regions in 2019. ON Semiconductor will discuss why the company values having a strong employee volunteer program and describe how thinking locally has helped them to expand their program globally.
For more than a century, volunteering has been a vibrant part of GE’s culture, as both an individual employee activity and an organizational effort. Taufiq will be sharing his expertise on the ethos behind GE Volunteers which is implemented across the globe and will share specifically the activities of GE Volunteers Malaysia and the great minds behind this successful and sustainable program.
This is a great learning experience for those involved in corporate citizenship activities and we would like to encourage the relevant staff of member companies to register for this program. Please note there is no charge to attend this program, however, seats are limited so kindly register early to book your seats.
Due to space limitation, we welcome a maximum of 3 representatives per company. If you do have more of your staff who are interested to attend, do let us know and we will advise on the availability closer to the date.
