February 21, 2020 @ 2:45 pm - 5:00 pm
Event Navigation
The impact of the Coronavirus is escalating across the travel and consumer sectors in South East Asia. Some economists are predicting that these effects could endure for several months. In response, governments in ASEAN, and businesses in related sectors, such as retail, aviation, transport, hospitality, MICE, healthcare and the digital economy, must work together to overcome unprecedented challenges.
AMCHAM is proud to present a diverse group of experts, Gary Bowerman, founder of Check-In Asia, Hannah Pearson, director of Pear Anderson, Philip See, CEO of FlyFirefly Sdn Bhd who will discuss the travel sector as an integrated part of the Malaysian economy, and the potential impact on business and leisure travel, investment flows, employment, consumer confidence, stock values and government policy of a protracted health crisis.
This informative closed-door session will be held on 21 February 2020 at 2:45pm to 5:00pm at the AMCHAM Executive Office.
