On Thursday, 16 February, AMCHAM will be holding a special briefing session with the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Agency. The delegation, led by Executive Assistant Commissioner, Ms AnnMarie R. Highsmith, will be providing the latest information on CPB actions to stem forced labor incidents in Malaysia and around transhipments impacting Malaysian exports.
She will also be detailing the agency’s green trade strategy and looks to have a discussion on driving Malaysia’s strength as a reliable trading partner.
Accompanying Ms Highsmith will be members of her team including the Executive Director for Trade Remedy Law Enforcement, Eric Choy who spoke to AMCHAM in 2022.
