AMCHAM Roundtable with MIDA & MDEC – New Principal Hub + Services Incentive

AMCHAM members are invited to a special breakfast talk on Tuesday, November 5th 2019 from 9.30am to 11.00am at the AMCHAM Executive Office to hear from the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) about their recently-released ‘Principal Hub 2.0’ Incentive Program, and from Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) about their new Services Incentive.

The original Principal Hub incentive has been in place since 2015 and is designed to attract multinational companies to leverage Malaysia as a base for conducting their regional or global businesses. Enhancements to the Principal Hub incentive were announced by MIDA in early October 2019 – please see here for more information.

To help AMCHAM members understand the content and rationale behind this enhanced incentive scheme, we are delighted to welcome Ms. Reena Kanny, Deputy Director of MIDA’s Business Services & Supply Chain Innovation Division.

MDEC’s presentation will be delivered by Mr. Hew Wee Choong, Vice President, Investment & Industry Development. Each of our guests speakers will provide a short presentation and there will be plenty of time for questions from the audience.
