Company Application For Operations Will Be Offline from 2 PM Until 4 PM
The Ministry of International Trade & Industry (MITI) has announced since applications for the company to resume operations opened at 9am today, traffic flow to the MITI portal has seen a sharp increase and reached 176,000 users in the first two hours.
MITI has found that the majority of these visitors are not companies but individuals accessing the MITI portal, leading to a high number of visitors not consistent with the number of companies in the sector that have been approved for exemption. Therefore, MITI will reconfigure the application system, ensuring that only companies in the sector are allowed to access the application system.
The application system will be temporarily closed at 2.00 pm and will be back online at 4:00 pm through the MITI website, https://application.miti.gov.my.
