Advisory For Travelers To Malaysia (22 July 2020)

In line with the efforts by the Government of Malaysia to contain the spread of COVID-19 from travelers abroad who are entering Malaysia, effective from 24 July 2020, all returning travelers are required to undergo mandatory quarantine at dedicated quarantine centers for a period of 14 days, upon arrival at the Malaysian international point of entry. (The implementation of the above policy is not applicable to land entry between Johor and Singapore for Malaysian and Singaporean citizens.)

All travelers planning to enter Malaysia must also fill in a Letter of Undertaking (LoU) and email it to their nearest Malaysian Mission at least three (3) days before departure. A Travel Notice will be issued to the applicant via email. Travellers must bring a copy of both the LoU and Travel Notice to be presented when asked by the airline or any relevant authority during departure, transit and arrival at the Malaysian international point of entry
