Herbalife Collaborates with Ministry of Youth and Sports, Kicking Off KBS Biggest Loser 2026

KUALA LUMPUR, JUNE 26, 2026 – Herbalife, a premier health and wellness company, community and platform, officially announced its partnership with the Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS) as the official nutrition partner for the KBS Biggest Loser 2026, which has officially kicked off in April 2026. Through this collaboration, Herbalife will bring its nutrition science, wellness expertise, and product support directly to participants at 16 programme locations across Malaysia, spanning all 15 states and federal territories.

The partnership builds on Herbalife’s longstanding collaboration with KBS for Hari Sukan Negara 2024, the country’s largest annual sporting event, held in Putrajaya from 11 to 13 October 2024, which attracted more than 50,000 participants.

For KBS Biggest Loser 2026, Herbalife’s support will reach more than 3,000 participants across three competition tiers specifically the ministry level, state level, and civil servants in Putrajaya, over a cycle of between four to six months.

As part of the collaboration, Herbalife will deliver a comprehensive suite of on-ground support designed to enhance both the educational and experiential aspects of the programme. Participants will benefit from nutrition talks and educational sessions led by registered dietitians and nutritionists, alongside one-on-one wellness evaluation booths featuring body composition scales that provide deeper insights beyond weight, including hydration levels and other key health indicators.

Herbalife will also provide product support and giveaways valued at approximately RM42,000 across all 16 programme locations, featuring key products including the Formula 1 Nutritious Mixed Soy Protein Drink, an easy-to-make meal replacement for weight management; Formula 3 Blended Soy and Whey Protein Powder, to supports the growth and maintenance of lean muscle mass; Tea Mix with Hibiscus, to provide boost of energy and staying focused; and the Herbalife24 CR7 Drive, formulated to support hydration and endurance during the programme’s physical training sessions.

Herbalife extended its educational outreach through two nationwide virtual sessions open to all participants on “Sustainable Weight Loss: Eat Enough, Choose Well”, and “The Malaysian Plate Makeover: Lose Weight without Giving up Your Favourite Food”. These sessions were conducted by Herbalife’s dietician and nutritionist respectively, who are also MAHPC registered.

The KBS Biggest Loser is a structured competitive weight management programme initiated by  KBS through the National Youth and Sports Department (JBSN) to promote healthy living among ministry staff, civil servants, and the general public. Introduced in 2024, this year’s edition marks a significant scale-up, expanding nationwide across all 15 states/ federal territories with an enhanced structure of 16 sessions per cycle, comprising 12 physical training sessions and four educational sessions. The programme targets individuals with a BMI of 25 and above.

Herbalife will be present at programme activations across all participating locations throughout the campaign period, including Putrajaya, Sabah, Perlis (only product sponsorship), Sarawak, Kuala Lumpur, Kedah, Kelantan, Pulau Pinang, Negeri Sembilan, Terengganu, Pahang, Johor, Melaka, Perak, Selangor, and Labuan. At each location, activities will vary but will generally include nutrition education sessions, wellness evaluation booths, motivational talks, product sampling and support, and structured physical activity sessions.
