AMCHAM Administrative Professionals’ Day

On 22 April 2026, AMCHAM hosted the Administrative Professionals’ Day 2026 at Crowne Plaza Hotel Kuala Lumpur. This program brought together expert speakers for a dynamic program on how administrative professionals can leverage AI and digital workflows to elevate their roles, while also prioritizing mental and physical well-being to sustain long-term performance.

The program opened with an interactive ice-breaker by Dhiva Krishanan, Coach at Cultural Impact,  who laid the groundwork for the rest of the program. She later conducted a workshop introducing practical frameworks for managing diverse workplace expectations. The session encouraged active participation, with attendees sharing experiences and insights on navigating multicultural environments.

Pravena K, CEO at Virtual Assistance Asia, then delivered an insightful presentation on the strategic shift from “assistant” to “enabler,” highlighting how administrative roles are evolving into powerful, strategic positions driven by AI and automation. Pravena later joined John Yeo, Digital and Technology Lead at Pfizer Asia, and Jenny Wong, Senior Client Partner at Korn Ferry Malaysia, for a compelling panel discussion moderated by Aileen Doraisamy, Office Manager at AMCHAM Malaysia. The panel explored the evolving role of administrative professionals and the balance between human judgment and AI-driven productivity.

The focus shifted to sustaining excellence in the final panel, featuring Alex Diong, Director at Lyra Health Malaysia, Anna Suppiah, Vice President, Women, DEI & Work Life Sustainability at TalentCorp, and Radha Lakshimi, Senior Associate of Employee Experience at PwC Malaysia, moderated by Norlida “Oli” Azmi, Founder of Chapter Advisory. The discussion offered actionable strategies for stress management, preventing burnout, and fostering resilience.

The highly interactive program saw phenomenal engagement, with participants walking away with practical insights to boost both their professional impact and personal well-being. AMCHAM thanks all our esteemed speakers, moderators, and generous sponsors, Estée Lauder, The Prestige Hotel Penang, Ciao Ristorante, and Crowne Plaza Hotel Kuala Lumpur, for making this a resounding success!
