AMCHAM Attended MoU Signing Ceremony between PERHEBAT, JHEV ATM, and SOCSO

AMCHAM was pleased to attend the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony between PERHEBAT, the Department of Veterans Affairs of the Malaysian Armed Forces (JHEV ATM), and the Social Security Organization (SOCSO) today at the PERHEBAT Complex in Sungai Buloh.

The ceremony, witnessed by YB Dato’ Seri Mohamed Khaled bin Nordin, Minister of Defence, and YB Dato’ Sri Ramanan Ramakrishnan, Minister of Human Resources, marks an important step in strengthening support for Malaysian Armed Forces veterans through enhanced job matching opportunities and social protection initiatives.

PERHEBAT plays a critical role in preparing retiring service members and veterans for civilian careers through its Transition Training programs, equipping them with skills that align with industry needs.

Through AMCHAM’s ongoing collaboration with PERHEBAT, the Chamber is pleased to support efforts to bridge the gap between industry and veteran talent, and to connect our member companies with trained and disciplined professionals who bring valuable leadership and operational experience to the workforce.
