Trade Meeting between AMCHAM and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA)

On 13 January 2026, AMCHAM had an insightful discussion with senior leaders from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), including Luke J. Lindberg, Under Secretary for Trade and Foreign Agricultural Affairs, and Alicia Hernandez, Regional Agricultural Counselor with the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS).​

The discussion highlighted Malaysia’s role as a strategic supply chain hub for agriculture and food-related industries, while exploring opportunities to strengthen collaboration on trade, investment, and supply chain resilience across the region.
