Malaysia Stands Firm On US Tariff Talks, Seeks Balanced Outcome
Malaysia remains committed to achieving a balanced and beneficial resolution in ongoing tariff discussions with the United States, with Putrajaya stressing it will not compromise on issues of national security and sovereignty.
Investment, Trade and Industry Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz said the country was optimistic about resolving the tariff dispute, but emphasised that Malaysia would only pursue agreements that truly serve the national interest.
