In efforts to raise awareness on the importance of women empowerment and the need to accelerate action toward gender parity, the local team has organized a series of initiatives including social media campaigns and in-plant celebrations:
- Health and Wellbeing program
Jabil employees were treated to a shoulder massage by differently abled employees from the St. Nicholas’ Home Penang, a non-profit charitable organization who works on creating opportunities for the blind and visually impaired (BVI) community. - IWD Women’s Empowerment session
which included a talk on mental health, a fun Zumba session and a free eye test. - Donation and visit to WCC (Women’s Centre for Change)
a collaboration between Jabil Cares and IT department which saw the donation of laptops and educational booklets. - IWD ACE It Fun Walk
an engaging way to reinforce our commitment to women empowerment and accelerating action toward gender parity. - IWD Women in Zcience (WiZ)
Women in Zcience (WIZ) 2025 is a STEM program with objective of encouraging and motivating young women (Form 3) towards careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) fields. WiZ will be a 9-month program covering topics such as Science, AI and Engineering workshops, follow by a grand competition and ends with a Jabil plant tour for the students by end of the year. - IWD Health Talk
