His illustrious career in public service includes serving as the Minister of International Trade and Industry, Minister of Higher Education, and most recently, as Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department for Economic Affairs. YB Tan Sri Rebecca Sta Maria

YB Tan Sri Rebecca Sta Maria is an internationally recognized leader in global trade and economic diplomacy. She previously served as the Executive Director of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Secretariat and as Secretary-General of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI). Her role in shaping Malaysia’s trade policy and driving reforms has been instrumental in positioning Malaysia within the global trade landscape.
