By supporting education initiatives that advance equitable outcomes in STEM and business for underrepresented and under-resourced students, 3M empowers the next generation of scientists and engineers.

Environment:

3M engages in environmental initiatives to make a positive impact on the Earth. As a leader in sustainability, 3M works with various partners to support the sustainability goals and needs of our customers and our communities.

Community:

3M enhances the vibrancy of our communities by assuring access to basic needs, preparing youth for lifelong success, increasing access to diverse arts opportunities, and contributing to global humanitarian relief efforts.

3M’s Volunteering Program:

3M encourages our employees and alumni to find a cause they feel passionate about and make a difference in their communities through volunteerism. Thousands of 3Mers participate through 3Mgives volunteer programs, mentoring students and youth, serving on nonprofit boards, and helping people in need around the world. In the Asia Pacific region, 16,900 volunteer hours have been contributed by employees in 2019 out of 273,000 in total, globally.
