Plexus Tree Planting Program

On 5 Aug 2024, Plexus, Teradyne, and City Council of Penang Island worked hand in hand to plant 105 trees along Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Expressway. The team of 60 participants planted Chinese fringe flowers, orange jasmine, and palm trees in the event themed “Trees for Tomorrow: Act Now!”.

Alongside the tree planting efforts, a friendly competition was held to recognize exceptional contributions in three key areas – Neatness of Planting, Speed of Planting, and Cleanliness of Surrounding Area. Winners received a special mug each. As part of our commitment to sustainability, each participant also received a reusable water bottle filled with refreshing drinks to enjoy after the tree planting activity.
