AMCHAM’s 2024 Ambassador’s Cup

On 29 May, AMCHAM proudly hosted the 2024 Ambassador’s Cup at the prestigious Royal Selangor Golf Club (RSGC). Our signature golf tournament this time around saw a total of 48 golfers taking part in a friendly round of golf with the U.S. Ambassador to Malaysia, H.E. Edgard D. Kagan.

The tournament was followed by a luncheon at the Ambassador’s residence, where attendees networked, celebrated the prize-giving ceremony and participated in the lucky draw session. New to the luncheon this year was the means for guests to practice some golf via golf simulator by Wedge. The simulator provides an engaging golf experience and is suitable for both pro players and beginners alike.

2nd Place: David Seow, Group CEO, Fu Hao Manufacturing (42 Stableford points)

3rd Place: Derrick Tan, Associate Director – Office Strategy & Solutions, Knight Frank Malaysia Sdn Bhd (40 Stableford points)

Longest Drive:  Chong Kai Juen, Vice President, Financial Institutions at Citibank Bhd (254 yards)

Closest to the Pin: Mohd Nazri Abdullah, Manager,  Ben Line Agencies (8 feet)

Closest to the Line: Aidi Kusim, Government Relations Malaysia & AEMEA, Hershey (1 feet 2 inches)
