MetLife Malaysia Centre of Excellence bring cheer to children’s home

The MetLife Malaysia Center of Excellence (COE) recently engaged in a charitable initiative to collect groceries for the Shelter Home for Children, which protects children from trauma, abuse, and neglect. Associates donated over 175 bulk groceries such as rice, detergent, and shampoo as well as several small appliances.

Associates delivered the donations, extending their support beyond the office and into the community. They demonstrated their commitment to making a meaningful impact, by volunteering to clean the home and have lunch with the children, fostering a sense of camaraderie.

Laavanya Angamuthu, who led the initiative, shared “I am proud of the Malaysia COE Associates who donated their resources to those in need. A simple act of sharing food can have a profound impact on a child”.

This initiative underscores the values of compassion and generosity that are integral to the Malaysia COE and MetLife’s commitment to making a positive impact on the community.
