[VIRTUAL] Empowering Workplace Safety: Occupational Safety & Health Act (OSHA) Amendments Briefing

As amendments to the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) are expected to be enforced from June 2023 onwards at all places of work, AMCHAM hosted a comprehensive briefing session on the amendments of the act, shedding light on its intricacies  and how it will affect companies. 

Speakers for this session included Trishelea Sandosam, Partner from Wong & Partners, Ku Nurfuzana Ku Mohamad Faudzi, Head of Promotion & Resources Section from Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) WP Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya, and Wan Azman, General Manager of Health Safety and Environment from ConocoPhillips Malaysia. Speakers briefed attendees on notable amendments in OSHA, its impact on different industries, benefits to both employers and staff, as well as, highlighting the penalties for not complying.
