FedEx Express in Malaysia Bags Two Awards for Strong Workplace Culture
KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia, December 14, 2022 – FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX) and one of the world’s largest express transportation companies, has been awarded ‘Best Companies to Work for in Asia 2022’ by HR Asia in recognition of exemplary human resource management practices and strong corporate-culture employee engagement. In addition, FedEx was recognized with a second award for ‘Asia Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI)’ for the company’s actions in promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
Winners were evaluated based on a set of criteria spanning three categories – leadership and organization, emotional engagement and team dynamics in which team members were asked to rate the company.

The HR Asia awards aim at identifying Asia’s employers of choice across 12 countries/territories in the region. Its purpose is to recognize companies based on HR practices, and also companies that demonstrate high levels of employee engagement coupled by excellent workplace cultures.
In addition to the awards from HR Asia, FedEx received the ‘2022 MY AMCHAM Cares’ recognition presented by the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM) for its continued commitment to driving corporate social responsibility (CSR) in Malaysia. This year, FedEx received the ‘Champion Level’ recognition, as this is the third consecutive year FedEx is receiving the AMCHAM CARES award for its efforts in fostering positive societal impact across five key pillars – Sustainability, Strategy, Measurability, Communications & Partnerships. FedEx continued nurturing young talents to have an entrepreneurial mindset geared toward international trade via its FedEx / JA International Trade Challenge. FedEx also supported the upgrading and improvement of a local kindergarten in Pulau Carey, Selangor as part of its global FedEx Cares 50 by 50 initiative.
