DESCRIPTION:The Indo-Pacific Economic Framework (IPEF) had recently concluded its latest negotiation round in Bali\, Indonesia\, on 18 March and is about to host another round in Singapore from 8-15 April. \nAs the 14 participating countries reconvene\, Khalil Hegarty\, Senior Policy Advisor\, and Jackson Cox\, Interim President of the American Association of the Indo-Pacific (AAIP) will provide AMCHAM with a briefing on 02 May 2023 on the latest thoughts around IPEF including some current challenges. \nTopics to addressed: \nIPEF: Current Regional Expectations. \nIPEF State of Play\, recap of the last negotiating round and expectations. \nPotential Benefits for the Malaysian private sector. \nMember’s input for AAIP submissions and for negotiating teams. \nThis will be an excellent opportunity to contribute to the conversation and learn more about how the private sector is navigating and providing inputs to the process.
